I don’t feel like I’m an ‘Apprentice’ because everyone within the workplace is treated the same. It’s a really good way to get into the world of work since your gaining hand-on experience. This follows new guidance issued last week from the Scottish Government on the reopening of outdoor nurseries and a successful appeal for nursery volunteers.

I would highly recommend doing a Modern Apprenticeship if the opportunity arises for anyone. Earthtime's Forest School nurseries at Duffus and Elgin which operate wholly outdoors will reopen within the next fortnight. Earthtime nurseries provide a safe, secure outdoor environment where the children are free to explore, play and investigate supported by experienced and enthusiastic practitioners and qualified Level 3 Forest School Leaders.

What advice would you give to anyone else considering an Apprenticeship? Earthtime Forest School Nurserys been set up to help support the keyw orkers in our area so I made a donation of crafty items including paints, scissors. I just love my job and I find it very rewarding watching the children grow and see how they play and interact with each other at such a young age. What did/do you enjoy most about your Apprenticeship? Why did you decide to do an Apprenticeship?Įarthtime offered me the chance to do a Child Practitioner Modern Apprenticeship which allowed me to gain an SVQ Level 2 and earn a wage at the same time. The Forest School Association have shared news that Earthtime For All Ltd, Duffs. A position soon became available at Earthtime where my daughter went and thought it would be something totally different and exciting to his previous job roles.
